The FREDIE project is part of the global initiatives that aim to create a complete catalogue of all living organisms. This ambitious aim can only be accomplished if all our efforts will be concerted and so we invite collaborators from all over Europe to become part of this great idea. As all produced DNA sequences will be published in the NCBI Genbank and thus made available to the scientific community, we actively contribute to the global efforts to counter the biodiversity crisis.
